Atomic Keeper with the NM module for NPP
Description
The automated nuclear material accounting and control system Atomic Keeper with the NM (nuclear materials) module is designed to automate NM accounting and control procedures, store and process data about NM handling, generate reporting and accounting documentation, and provide reliable information for planning and implementing NM accounting and control activities on the territory of a nuclear power plant.
The software is based on the Universal Accounting Platform, the flexible configuration of the platform allows the system to be adapted to the specific technical processes of particular enterprises working with nuclear materials. The system provides a high degree of automation and reliability, and complies with IAEA recommendations regarding nuclear and radiation safety for non-nuclear countries.
Atomic Keeper with the NM module is successfully operated at nuclear power plants in the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Türkiye.
Objectives
- Collection, processing and storage of data on properties and characteristics of nuclear materials used at nuclear power plants.
- Generation and maintenance of accounting and reporting documents.
- Providing information about the quantity of nuclear materials at their locations.
Functions
- Tracking the location of each NM accounting unit.
- Registration of operations, activities and special accounting procedures with nuclear materials.
- Logging of all movements of accounting units.
- Possibility to create, modify and implement schemes of reactor core loading and reloading.
- Formation of working documentation required by nuclear power plant specialists before, during and after work with NM.
- Providing data on the quantity of nuclear materials in all material balance areas (MBA) and key measurement points (KMP).
- Generation of reporting documentation about the presence and changes in the quantity of nuclear materials in the form of reports of the established form (ICR, PIL, MBR).
- Maintenance of accounting documents such as General and Subgeneral Ledgers, record cards, and nuclear material location cartograms.
- Supporting the possibility of correcting data about locations and isotopic composition of nuclear materials with reflection of changes in reporting and accounting documents.
- Provide information support for inspections and physical inventories on the territory of nuclear power plants.
- Verification of input data for compliance with validation criteria.

Configuration
One of the key features of the system is the ability to configure it for unique technological processes and customer requirements. The configuration allows creating hierarchical descriptions of all necessary accounting units and their characteristics, as well as of equipment used at a nuclear power plant.
